Οn April 1 Fair Planet offered, a first batch of books in order to reinforce the capacities of the library of the Juvenile Detention center of Volos.

In February 2010, Fair Planet’s mission, in which the World Pharmacists participated, found itself confronted with a serious epidemic of meningitis and intense problems of child malnutrition in Sabou region in Burkina Faso.

Fair Planet contributed the Greek humanitarian mission to the earthquake-affected Haiti, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with 130 Kg of infant powder milk.

Fair Planet delivered medicines to the Mother Teresa Institution in Addis Ababa and to the district of Sima.

With this intervention Fair Planet aims to support the efforts made by the residents to upgrade the infrastructures of health in the region, which are insufficient and rudimentary.

 Το δεύτερο μέρος του προγράμματος αφορά στην παροχή ιατρικού εξοπλισμού και υγειονομικού υλικού καθώς και στην αποστολή ιατρικής ομάδας στην περιοχή για την υποστήριξη των υποδομών υγείας που υπέστησαν καταστροφή από τους βομβαρδισμούς.

Το πρόγραμμα εστιάζεται στην καταπολέμηση με ολοκληρωμένη ιατρική παρέμβαση (διάγνωση, θεραπεία και πρόληψη) της ελονοσίας στη Λαϊκή Δημοκρατία του Κονγκό και με κύριους αποδέκτες τις πιο ευάλωτες κοινωνικές ομάδες όπως τα παιδιά και οι έγκυες γυναίκες
